Default V6 timing kit

Hello I have just found the V6 timing kit that i used to rebuild my dads 75, sadly this car has now gone to the big car park in the sky so the kit is no longer needed. can you advise on value & how best to sell it ? does anyone want it?

I bought my Sealey kit second hand , and was happy to pay £100 for it
I think the Sealey version is about £400 new ! Cheaper versions are available ; have a look on ebay .

What brand Ian and how many components ?
Photos?

Also is it the later kit with uprated plastic idler wheel ?
OEM kits are uprated
Not sure about other after market kits

Are we talking about the same thing ? I am assuming he means the tool kit for doing the job , not the components ?

Thank you all for you replies. it is a AST auto service kit & your right it is the timing & locking tools not the service parts.

£100 plus a bit of postage sounds reasonable so if anyone wants it?

the box says V6 petrol Engine, KV6 engine Rover 45/75 & freelander

The OEM kits had all the adaptor plates.

The after-market kits never seem to have the 190 plates

However as you don't need to remove the cam shaft end caps, the above irrelevant.
As long as the rear sprockets line up and crank is in safe position everything will work out without the correct plates

The OEM timing tools have three sets of front locking tools, one for the two litre one for the two point five and one for 180/190.

There is no need to swap plates as in the aftermarket tooling
