Comments on the BBC yesterday that had Max Moseley still been 'in charge', Vettel could well have been given an additional penalty retrospectively.

But under the present regime, extremely unlikely.

Wonder if that's because Jean Todt is Ferrari through and through?

That's why they all wanted to miss the turn 8 corner.

WoW! Max fined €25000 for sneaking off & missing the post race press interview.

Vettel could be facing further action, there's going to be a FIA meeting about the incident next week. He had been warned after the time he swore at Charlie Whiting any future incidents he could face a disciplinary tribunal.

I think at the very least he should lose his points from the race.

That would be pretty fair punishment in my view

It would certainly fit the crime but it really depends on if Todt wishes to make an example of him especially after Mexico and the perception that he has brought the sport into disrepute again. It really didn't help his cause with his attitude with the press after the race, had he have shown even a little contrition he may not be in the situation he now finds himself.

If he looses his points and Lewis moves up one place, as Seb is demoted, they will be joint leaders in the drivers championship!
