Mornin', not good this morning. Definitely some cold/flu thing going on. Sore all over, headache, choked up, weak as one of Jeff's kittens! Need to go out at some point to stock up on paracetamol.

Well - that's one hurdle overcome. I came away with a clean bill of health from my Diabetes Annual Review. My cholesterol, blood sugar level, blood pressure, kidney and liver all functioning well with readings well within bounds - I've even lost a couple of lbs in weight - I must have been a good boy for the past 12 months (despite the Cornish Cream Teas and Pasties in June!). If I can get past my Coronary Heart Disease Review week after next with the same result - I'll be more than happy

Been out, only along to the local Co-op and I'm knackered! TV critic the rest of the day methinks.

Cardiac unit said last year that they didn't want to see me again, this year the diabetic brigade said they didn't want to see me again. Only thing going on is this supposed liver problem, found a "marker" in a blood test a while ago but every test they've done is inconclusive. Got an appointment with them again next month.

Evening all It's been spitting with rain all afternoon and dark & windy, I collared my mate walking his dog past the gate to give me a hand getting the drill press down off the bench, they don't make em like that any more It weighs a ton ready for cleaning.

Meatballs in a tomato/red pepper sauce with penne pasta for tea.

Good news Rod, I got news back today in the post from the bowel cancer screening kit I did a couple of weeks ago, all normal so next one in two years time.
