I agree Derek, when we left the uk to go on holiday. It was persisting it down, cold and very windy. And during the first week, it was snowing here in the uk. Both me and Maricel were glad to be on holiday, we had both had enough of the weather.

When I told Maricel it was snowing back home, she said I am glad we are here in Dubai. The big bonus part of the holiday, was that she got to spend quality time with 4 of her sisters.

In theory, I've got a hectic day - daughter-in-law's Citroen Picasso needs new front discs and pads - then this afternoon I'm supposed to be helping to start the construction of the Club's decorated float for entry in the Village Fete - and cider and snooker tonight with the boys tonight
I feel worn out just typing the details
Its a full life Rodders ..

It's much colder here and looking like rain as well, seems most of the U.K. is in for some unsettled weather

Morning Freddie,

Still very confused and muddling things up but she was much more lively though so hoping for slow but continued progress

Morning Rod sounds hectic indeed, it would be nice to have a fast forward button that you could go directly to the cider & snooker

I was supposed to be putting the alternator on the car, but it aint gonna happen today or tomorrow, I cant even bend to put my trousers or socks on again.

The missus is giving me the evil eye because she'll have to get the trolley bag out of the garage to do some shopping.......it doesn't help when I tell her she looks like a bag lady pulling that I'm used to abuse & the thick ears I get
