The Jacksons Chameleon is common to East Africa, Florida and Hawaii. The male has horns and the female does not. When the male is on heat, it's courtship behavior involves dramatic changes in color to try and attract the female. Not very big creatures. The male is bigger and can grow from 5-10 inches. Lifespan varies, in captivity up to 10 years. Because of the camouflage, it was a rare photo opportunity. I am glad I had the phone on me

I cannae bear to look at photo above can you believe since the spider took at bite at my balls in ZA 2 years ago. A flesh eating poison but had a lucky escape from ball surgery!......must dash lol
