I am young with perfectly adequate knees!! But if its just held in by two screws then I think I'll take it out when I do this.

Is it just a paint?

I used 5m X 5mm chrome Strips £4.99 of Ebay.I did mine while still on the car I have the facelift and you have to take the front off to get the grill out

Does it just stick onto the grill or do you need to mould it so its the right shape?

It is self adhesive and you just cut it to the length you need, then press it on firmly.

Sounds easy enough, although im sure i'll find a way to mess this up!

Does it have to be 5mm diameter? None of them seem to be that size, (0.7cm is the closest I saw)

I think that 0.7cm should be OK.I think that the Strips on the older grill are a bit wider then the facelift.
Perhaps someone who as the older type will put us straight.
Hope to see a photo when its done

Got mine from Rosen Ivanov Bulgaria on ebay Vary quick despatch.
