Default Engine Disabled

I have two keys for a car, my V6, one key works okay the other does not comes up with engine disabled, any ideas what could be wrong.

Its now sorted, when I first got this car middle of last year, one of the fobs was knackered so I changed it and obviously forgot to change the transponder, just hunted high and low and found the old fob with the transponder still in it, how lucky is that.

Very lucky indeed

I've lost count of the amount of times I've had to get someone out of the claggy stuff after a key casing change

Make sure the transponder is secure in the new fob, as a lot of copy cases don't have the little ears on the transponder compartment to secure it.

If not, a dab of blu tac will sort it out
