Thumbs up Honda Civic T reg ***Sold***

Honda Civic 1.6iLS

My neighbours are looking to sell their car, due to advancing years, will be retiring from driving. They have had it from new a T reg Honda Civic with 64,500. FSH and paperwork, new MOT, 2x keys, new discs and tyres. They would like £750 ovno. If you would like to inspect please PM me with your phone number and I'll put you in contact with them.

Looking around the car its not mint but everything works including the aircon, and would say its in good condition for its age. Car is located in KT15. Can walk over and take more pictures if needed. Could be a good Rover 400 estate project.

Thread bump, they do need to sell the car so reduced to £600 with little movement on price. Talking to them yesterday they mentioned the recent bill for tyres, MOT & service was over £400 through the main dealer. If I had known what they were doing would have stopped them. Effectively a good car for £200!!!!

B20 turbo build.... that would be nice!

Being a Honda bummer thats a cheap car, unfortunately no one really goes for these as they are pretty hard to find aftermarket parts for!

Was looking over the engine and giving it a once over Sunday. In really good nick for the age. No previous owners on the log book! If any of my offspring had needed a car would have taken it. Parts wise quite a lot are compatible with the 45 and ZS. Because I'm use to the Rover 420 and ZS180 it is strange looking at the 1.6 Honda engine. Would not mention this to Derek the owner but converting to a 400 tourer would make it very rare and a possible investment.

Happy to consider £550 on their behalf as my next job is to put it on Autotrader next week for them.

I'd take it myself if it wasnt for the fact i have to many cars and an expensive repair in the coming months!
