Unhappy Jeeze my bank balance is going down.

Rover 75 1.8 auto 2003 53k

Purchased all three belts + water pump.

Four discs with pads and shoes.

Two front coil springs.

Removed the OSF leg without too much trouble but the hub bolt is rusty as hell so am ordering two new bolts, tie rods don’t look good so ordering two new.

I want to derust and paint the callipers, nightmare getting the bolts out, rusty as hell and rounded off so am ordering four new bolts.

Need to disconnect flexible pipe from caliper, will it come off, NO WAY, I thought I would try and separate it from the join where it meets the rigid pipe, will it come off, NO WAY. I now need to order two flexible pipes, brake pipe and unions and a brake flaring tool.

What’s next I am wondering, will the crankshaft pulley bolt snap, will the engine mount disintegrate, maybe the anti roll bar will roll over and die.

Oh well, it’s Sunday so it must be time for a glass of wine (or three), oh *** it I'll empty the bottle.
