Default Service light reset....

I seem to remember you can reset the service light without using a proper plug device is this true or is it my imagination....if so anyone know how its done please..

Yes there is. But shorting out the OBD socket with wires or paperclips isn't recommeneded, even though it works when done right. Done wrong, it'll blow a fuse and maybe worse. For the price of the eBay resetters, is it worth risking your electronics?

i have an ebay resetter i got for 10 pounds. works just fine.

Pay the postage both ways you can borrow mine so long as you return it.

This is the reason i suggested the tool library didn,t get any real interest except for the negative side of it.

i think the tool library was a great, altruistic idea on your behalf.
