Never done it myself I hope others will advice how difficult it is. DIY, you learn, feel proud and of course, save money.

This is the best thing about this forum
Lots of advice in the how to section and any problems where you need help , just ask.
People have a wealth of knowledge on here and often give advice and assistance when needed.
Best of all , as above , people will offer their assistance when needed.
I myself needed some help after a heart attack , posted a request on here and a member(Lee t) came round to help me out.
Also if you need parts , try the wanted section and the traders on here are a decent bunch.

Brilliant place is this forum

Good that you're getting it fixed ect

I was in your shoes last week and very po'd but had a think about things. I know it'll take time to get stuff done, what I can do I will but like you money is very tight and with 3 NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- cars (which is my own doing) it's worse.

As you say and I better realise too, this is a great place with lots of help and advice....I too think I should pay for full membership it's only right.

I'm just down the road, if you want a hand, just pm me.
Depending on tools, it will be your place or mine.

we can have our own meet / work party.

Time and tools I have so you both know how to get hold of me if you want help.

Saturday to wednesday is generally best for me. I have a few weekends already booked with things
