Smile new head light bulbs

A question for the group, I wish to put in brighter head lamp bulbs. I got a set off no less than Ebay since then I am left with the bulb failure light perm on. What is the suggested bulbs that will work please?

Assuming you mean the main halogen bulbs, I think they are min 55w. So even a cheapo set shouldn't cause a canbus issue. Are you sure it's the headlights that are the cause?

You didn't go for LED bulbs did you? As they can cause all sorts of errors as they draw less current. I usually go for Osram night-breakers or blue.

Phew, lol. Yes I know the bulbs you mean as Ring do versions of them too and they’re excellent bulbs with a fantastic light output yet still 55w

Having tested quite a few, the best results have been with the Ring + 150 set, though the Philips X-treme vision +130 close second, and Osram Nightbreakers third.
Ring also seem to last the longest.
