Default A day out at the park

Opened in 1946, a park of 47.5 sq miles in area for the wild life. Hunting and poaching is banned. Poachers can be shot on sight. We had a day out at the park on Saturday and a picnic, the rain held off until we were leaving.

Thank you Nick, praise from a master photographer. Thank you very much. Someone here, pulled me up a few years ago about the noise in a photo I took of Flamingoes. Little did he know, a UK travel company asked if they could use it for their African brochure and I was pleased as punch, I did clean up the photo

I am anything but a master! Just shoot away as and when and once in a while you end up with some excellent results. I shall have to wander to our local park and see if they have any water buffalos!

Thank you Fred, I have a few more to post up. Your right there was a time when
the wild animals roamed everywhere. These days, the ones remaining all command my respect.

I have been revisiting some old photos I took at Lake Bogoria 8 years ago, some with an iPhone3 and some with a Nikon. The lake is a thermal lake with hot springs, but too hot for people to go swimming in. However, it is popular with Flamingoes and other bird life.
