The MG / 75's handbrake system is entirely separate from the disk and pads, it uses shoes dedicated to the handbrake system. Wear on the system is imperceptible, so it doesn't need an auto-adjuster.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Well, just a quick update on the "Hand Brake".

The hand brake will now hold on a reasonably steep slope with just two clicks applied. This was after a long time setting them up and taking time in cleaning all the moving parts. A lot of the success is down to buying better quality parts VIA Matt.

It is the first time in a long time that the H/B has got any "Feel" to it , before it always felt"Hard" with no "bite" to it.

Don't forget though you will still need the odd little pull on the brake lever while you are on the move just to keep the drums free of rust.

Even a little rust will reduce the braking efficiency.---

And me, I can't see an obvious leak, There is no cross-contamination oil water or water in oil.

I am waiting for some bits and pieces to make up a pressure system to check for leaks
