Default yes oh yes

You may be fed up with some of my wittering's these last few months as I work through a clutch change on my Tourer. Along the way suspension items also needed doing on the front end, not something I had budgeted on.

Today I put the air intake back together and slid the battery into place.
Heart pounding I very nervously turned the key and.............. the car burst into life without hesitation and.......... and.................. no warning lights stayed on.

To say I'm delighted and relived is an understatement.
I'll give the car a once over, tighten the hub nuts and lower it to the ground and wait for a dry day to run it up and down the road to see if all is ok. If ok will sort out an mot.

A big thank you for all your help

It's a good feeling and satisfying to know you have done it yourself, all the stress is forgotten once you get MOT

Well done mate - anyone can take something apart - the real skill is in putting it back together and it working when you turn the key!

Well done, within a couple of months when
Y new garage is finished, my rover will be retired from active service and will be gone through with a tooth comb. I dont care what I spend, will source quality parts as cheap as possible. After that will only come out for summer pottering. I want to get it done while part are still available and I’m fit enough to do the jobs, I cannot wait.

Good work Ian. Don't forget to give it a good thrash on the way to the MOT.

undoing all the suspension nuts and bolts and where needed lubricating them is well worth the effort.

Saw this as I was leaving your 'work place' last month. Perhaps you can offer repair services for club members whilst they are cruising
