We've just started back at work (Ladram Bay) and I must say the touring vans are amazing. I'm sad to hear that some owners are snobby. I always felt that caravanning had a 'help and socialise' spirit. Why don't they just book a lodge or go to a hotel?

Which Ford dealership are you at. I'm at Jermyn & Sons in Seaford, a retail dealer.
I don't mind what people say - most of the time it is in jest but not always.
I'm at Skipton Ford in North Yorkshire - work as the estimator in the bodyshop.

Your 75 looks stunning, great specification - even from the small picture!

Yes most of it is in jest, but some people question what I might have been thinking buying a Rover "can you still get the parts?"

From what I have been reading the owners of newer caravans are probably jealous of our well built old vans.

Some very new vans only 3 years old already suffering from floors going soft, seems de-lamination comes early on new caravans.

I repaired our Bailey with the resin kit, made the floor rock solid again. Some caravanner's don't even know you can get such a resin kit to repair soft spongy floors.

I would not need a "Compass" to find my way in

Time for a "Swift" exit
