sleepers/Q cars
Had a cheeky little X reg VW jetta diesel try to make me look daft today, was powering up the 3rd lane toward the Tyne tunnel turnoff. I saw him keeping pace in the left hand mirror, and was quite surprised, as I was heading toward 4000 rpm I planted it and left him in the distance, thankfully :-). He must have been thinkng I'll take that old rover, fail.

Have to admit the best Q car I have driven is a Volvo S60R!
Unless you are a car spotter, it hides it 300 bhp and 4 wheel drive, very well! |

My 75 was a Q car in reverse when I got it. In as much as it was much slower than it looked!

My 800 Vitesse is very good at this. It's not *that* quick (it's the turbocharged T series engine) but people take a funny attitude to you in it.
It's the only car I drive where i'm aware of other people actively assuming I'm an oldie / 40mph brigade member. |

I had an Omega V6 before that had the same effect and an Ex-Police Omega before that, that could certainly shift |

Lots of companies out there that claim they can remap the T5 to around 300hp and you can pick them up fairly cheap at the moment, would hate to think of the fuel cost compared to my Diesel though. |
