So the three can be activated/de-activated independently of each other then? I have a feeling my headlamp delay is activated in that case.
Is it feasible for one of us to go to our local "T4 guy" and have some/all of these options altered within a reasonable time, i.e. can all the options be changed within an hour or does this take a fair bit of time? I think you know where I'm going with this - no-one likes going to a garage and paying for someone "flicking switches" for a couple of hours.

Should take no more than ten minutes to switch on or off any options, they are all on the same screen, I think from memory you have to save the settings in between each change, I can't recall whether the procedure will allow all the changes to be set then save all changes.
Expect to pay for an hour minimum though.

That's exactly what I wanted to be paying. Seriously though, that's what I had hoped because there are a few options I might look at having set/unset on my motor. I suppose the bottom line is actually speaking to the people who will be doing the job and my local guys seem to be quite honest, especially the parts guys.

I have just found out to my amazement that my R75 can sometimes travel at least 4 miles before the airbag warning light comes on!! In the past it has been on constantly. This car always seems to stun me into a draw-dropping sense of astonishment everytime I turn the key in the ignition.

The radio staying on for 20 mins is a feature of the radio, not the car. I know the Symphony does it, not sure of others.

I like when you unlock the Car the Sat Nav Screen shows its Welcome picture, either the Rover or MG one you have done or the Standard BMW brand name.
Serves no purpose but looks good.

If you are in pitch dark and you press the unlock button twice in quick succession the hazards light up for about 5 seconds. It is enough time for you to get your bearings at least.

I like the way I can unlock just my side of the car with one push of the remote, to let only me in, in dodgy areas. Or when it's raining, and the missus has given me jip, I can accidentally forget that second press for just a tad, rain-absorbingly longer moment (though not now she's pregnant, of course! ).

And I love the way that if, perchance, her indoors hasn't properly shut her door, the 75 will politely warn me when I lock the car, in a manner totally suited to a gentleman's carriage; like having a butler called Jeeves gently cough down a horn-trumpet in a most subtle yet unmissable way. And at all other times when the alarm is armed normally, it never makes even a peep, and won't wake the neighbours when you come home late at night.

The wife's car, in contrast, toots away ike the Italian National Anthem every time you simply lock the doors, and if you are unfortunate enough to leave a door open when locking, will it warn you? Oh no... it'll just unlock every door again very quickly, wait for you to get halfway down the street, or up the stairs and into the bathroom, and then sound the SWAT-team alarm and call the cavalry (and the local EHO).
Our Rovers are soooo refined, don't-you-know...
