Things you didn't know about your car ...
I only found out yesterday that the steering wheel doesn't just adjust "up" and "down" - but it can also be pulled "in" and "out"!! Spent a happy few minutes excercising the new movements of the wheel ... only to put it back exactly where it was because it was the most comfortable ...
It also took me a while to figure out that I could manually fold the door mirrors in and out ... of course now I have fitted powerfold mirrors and they merrily whiz in and out (including forgetting to fold them out after setting off in the pelting rain a few weeks back! ) Anyone else make any similar, gratifying , surprises??

You'd be surprised how much you could learn from reading the manual
Seriously, this could become an interesting thread.

Seat adjustment from the key fob,
Radio goes off after 20 minutes if left on without key in ignition, so you can't leave it on all night. Also, although I knew about the self-dimming mirror, it was interesting to play a torch on the sensor during daylight, and watch the mirror darken! OK, I know it's sad......... Individual per key learned option on the MK1 only with memory seats
MK2 (facelift) has remote boot release instead (well most do) a few early facelifts could have either. This is not user selectable via Testbook but appears to depend on the firmware revision stored in the BCU |

I don't think I found any surprises on my car because I had the owners handbook for two weeks before getting the car. I must have read it twenty times
Having said that I still struggle with the little wheel by the clock Before you ask I have read the thread regarding it but I am still lost at times http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ead.php?t=1056 |
