52 plate, apparently never regarded and still icy at the vents. Last owner 15 years. Also used some Dettol disinfectant spray down the vents, which has killed the musty and crusty Aircon smell stone dead. Sent from my Redmi 5 Plus using Tapatalk

Arrived back from France in Portsmouth at 6am this morning, and onto the new M275 at 06:20. A quick dash through the frosty fields and deserted roads of the South West and back into Plymouth at 09:15.
Total mileage of our trip to Disneyland and back was 727 miles and an estimated 37.6mpg on the computer (to be calculated properly when tank is refilled completely as last night I only stuck half a tank in at French motorway prices). |

At the last Midlands Nano Meet the spy hole mod was done, and a lot of water found in the plenum and the pollen filter was clearly wet.
Today I successfully changed the pollen filter on my 1.8T, and whilst at it I also checked the plenum drain which seemed partially blocked when rodding through. It looks as if the bottom of the drain tube has been crimped at some time, so I shall have to keep a close eye on this.

They are ‘crimped’ from new. You can cut the bottom part that is crimped off without any problems.
