Cool

Had a fabulous day with Allen, Val and Barbara. Ate too much and certainly put away plenty of falling down water. Drank Cider, Rose wine, Kraken spiced rum and finished off with some Tawny Owl port.

Val, bless her, gave me a lift home.

Just having a large malt before bed.

What a day hope everyone had some sort of reasonable Christmas . . Up early with kids started a roast . ( Beef today) and had it at 12 as wife in work at 2 until 10 am boxing Day . .
A short shift she normally does 24 Hr to 30 HR shifts.
So real Christmas day is tomorrow .
Hope next year we have more sense of a stable life .
And I'm fed up of pillocks saying covid is a myth
My wife working 3 to 4 24 Hr shifts a week because of it . And I dig graves ? If you where being sarcastic the you would say we have it covered but it's no f*""" joke .
You wouldn't believe the death rate . when you see it on TV it's just words . When you see it at both ends the scale is enormous.
All the best

I would have said good morning but as its taken so long to clear a "database error" its now good afternoon!

Storm Bella is making her presence felt here, strong winds with rain blowing around but we're only getting the eastern edge of it.

Nice low fat, low sugar, low salt and low cholesterol meal there mate
We're going cold turkey, followed by gluten free profiteroles and a can or two of Thatchers Haze to wash it all down.
Although our faint covering of snow has disappeared overnight, it's still a perishing freezing wind out there.
Talking of wind - this is the first year for ages that I've escaped without having to eat at least ONE sprout - there are none in the house

. I wish more people like yourselves at the frontline, would post up on the likes of fb and the other social media sites of your experiences, that way more people might take it seriously. All this business of “ master plan to make people comply”,is utter rubbish It annoys me.

Afternoon all, I tried a dozen times to load the site this morning but it kept saying database errors!

I had a turkey & stuffing butty for brekkie ~I've made a big batch of turkey broth & will be freezing most of it. Yet more turkey for tea tonight

It's gone dark here & we've got rain again with winds, weather warnings out for stronger winds in a few hours for here. batten down the hatches, I've already moved the planters with top heavy conifers in them out of the way.
