These are awesome cars, I had an 1993 820 ex police car, terrific thing.
If I could sell my 1.8t I would buy this......even though you are a good 8 hour drive away

Having been out to a show today, I can say that whoever gets this will have a lovely car to take along to such events, where it'll doubtless attract lots of positive comments!

Fraser I keep being drawn back to this thread. Its such a cracking car. I would love to have it unfortunately I dont have the space for it. Very surprised it hasn't sold and I hope someone snaps it up soon. If I had a bigger place with garage/driveway it would be my weekend/ show car!

I'm absolutely amazed that it hasn't sold, as I don't think many 800s are this good, particularly the very rare mark 1s. I'm taking it to a show tomorrow, with the for sale sign, to see if it'll shift.

Car performed rather well today, and attracted lots of positive comments. The perfect car for a Rover fan. Also, it's insured for the next 10 days, so will remain taxed until then. Therefore, it's available with the tax, at £875, with no offers, as really, it's a give away, at that price.

Another bump for this lovely car! Just think, you could be cruising around with the sunroof open in this amazing weather! Also, for anyone who worries that it's in Scotland, and thus impossible to collect, it's actually just an hour from Carlisle.
