Default front pads zt190

hi all, i have just fitted new discs to my zt, but the pads i was given don't seem to fit right, i went to the local motor factors and ones he pulled off the shelf were the same, however he also pulled another set off for a bmw and those were the same as the ones that came off my car.

i am confused, which do i go with???

i feel i would have to modify the ones i have by grinding off the lug on the top with the pin hole in it.

any advice.

Never heard of this one before....The 190 callipers are indeed of BMW origin.

Have you compared the new pad with the old ones ?

Sounds to me like your motor factor doesn't know what he's supplying, and is trying to give you pads that'll fit every other 75/ZT, but the 190 has completely different ones due to the larger discs.

Go with the BMW ones if they're phisically the same. As David says, the 190 has BMW calipers and the brakes on the 190 are the same as fitted to the 330d if memory serves.
