Oh dear another Stocktake call out. I've bothered Dave enough I think, he's probably sick of the sight of my house, my cars, and in fact me. Dave if your out their, I have fresh eclairs, donuts and more tea, to tempt you, NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- the diet!!!

Well Re-Take is coming across from the two sixties club to help me install the discs and pads, so I'll ask him to have a ganders at the lock and see what he thinks. Messengers reckons either a new lock with separate key for the boot, or remove the barrel completely and have the car mk2 style.

Fraser

As you've got the switch working, remove the trim from boot lid, and remove the actuating rod from latch. This will stop anyone from getting in from outside

ah ok will do this in the morning. Will that technically make my locking mechanism like an MK2, I always did wonder how mk2 owners got into their boots

You could, at some expense, as the coding on the car would need changing.....

Think I'll just move the actuating rod for now, and wait for Dave's assistance with the lock.
