V reg and yeah, got an afterfit satnav/dvd player installed which was quite nice (And at my age is fun to show off with!)

Ill get some photos up soon, has some scratches but I figure ill probably make more anyway so not a problem.

its real wood?

And thats awesome! Well, for me anyway.

I dont like the current wheel though, I prefer the more expensive ones (Beige with wood effect). How much would it cost to replace one? (Keeping in mind the remote for the audio doesnt work anyway due to me using an afterfit)

depends, not exactly sure but i belive they are upward of 150 quid. im sure i remember one on ebay for 200... have a look on here first, theres bound to be someone selling one. when you subscribe (if you do) you can place a wanted ad, chances are you will get a reply

I heard its the installation costs that are the expensive bit.

no - its pretty easy to change the steering wheel over - as long as you don't go to a Rover dealer. You have to disconnect the battery for half an hour to make sure you don't set the airbag off, but after that its only a few minutes work.

Mind you if you don't want to change the battery in the key, I think a garage or other member might be a good idea....

ZT diesel isn't *that* bad to insure. A 1.8 75 is the same insurance as mine (£2k when 17, £1152 this year), a ZT CDTI (114!) is £120 more a year...

Also - Good choice

Do you know of any member near Brighton (Ill happily drive a while, drove an hour to get a friend home just so I could drive the car!) that would be willing to do that?

I don't mind locking/unlocking the car with the key but I've always wanted to have one with remote c/l
