Take it to a car key shop, they will fit the right battery for you, it wont cost much.

I will subscribe but I have very little money left until my next pay cheque!

Put where I live on my profile.

What's the difference between a car key shop and a rover garage? (And no that's not the start of a terrible joke)

Impressive, A few weeks back I found a quote for £600 for the club CDT but that was only because at times you can find websites will quote much less (and hours later they will be back up to a few thousand)

Got the car today and was far too eager to drive it to wait for another stupidly cheap quote so am currently paying £2,369.35 for the year.

thats fairly reasonable tbh, probably around average for people of 'our age' had to pay nearly 2k for 25 last year. absolute joke... can always get away with paying did you do a quote on zt, just to see what it was? i did an it was around 5k for equivelant

I never got a quote for a ZT because I like the rover 75 for its wood effect/cream so it never came to mind. I have had some stupidly large quotes though.

Originally I was looking at a ford focus 1.6 but it cost 2.2k to insure and about the same price to buy so I thought "F*** that".
