Just to let you know that Jessica has arrived at the hospital and will update Phil's progress shortly.

I have said to Jessica to give Phil a great big hug and kisses from us all and that we wish them both the very best

Jessica has just sent this update

The signs are promising - but the pain is awful- .Phil is very brave. He says hi to everyone but is not up to phone calls yet.

Another text from Jesscia explaining why he can't have too much pain relief!

Yes. Balance difficult. Can't give more - constipation , allergies, drowsiness.., etc. But they need him to try wiggle toes etc, not be too drowsy for Physio when he comes again... Unsuccessful first try as P was fainting. But if u can move apparently helps eventually !!

Would just like to say thanks for Jessica for taking time out to keep us informed as it must be a worrying time enough for her as it it

All our best wishes for a continued steady progress and looking forward to seeing him well on the mend soon
