Hi All,

Just spoke to Jessica via text message and this is the news which sounds very promising so far.

From Jessica,

Hi Jeff. The surgeon just rang ..So far - so good, and we see how the next 24 hrs go which is the next critical bit. Some pulses in the foot now.

And a follow up text from Jessica,

I think it must have been 5 hr op- as he was wheeled off at two. Surgeon just rang me , and Phil is still in the recovery room. So might wake at 9 or 10.. I think it's better I go in early am and see him, as it's been a long day now!. It good it's done now. He found more clots and problems further down which would have caused further problems had he not had the op. Take care , J.

It sounds like the best decision was made to go ahead reading Jessica's second message.

I know all the positive thoughts sent out to Phil on here will greatly help in his recovery and many thanks to Jessica for keeping us informed
