looking a the D99 functions , is the Rover able to use the reverse sensor function on the D99?, the reverse sensor on the Rover connect's to the Ibus, i've heard its only used for reading faults with the sensor, but seeing function this on the D99 do you think it can utilise it?

My car is a Classic so I don't have an MGR reverse sensor kit fitted.

Would be interesting to find out if it would work, though.

Is the D99 an easy plug and play setup?
I have the original MGRover Chinese Ddin, as easy to set up as that?
No fascia needed?

The D99 is almost as easy as the original MGR double dins.

The steering control adapter requires some programming and if you get the Ibus adapter then that will require some fettling also.

I can't speak for everyone but this is the adapter that I am using. I originally got it for use with a Windows laptop but it also works with the Android headunit.

AFAIK, any ELM327-based OBD adapter will work with our cars.

I've never heard of copies but most of this stuff comes from China so its to be expected. I suppose the acid test is if it works or not, doesn't really matter if its a copy.

I have 2 ELM devices - wired and BT - and both work.

I'd say most of the programs are available to download for free if you do a search.
