fitment of gerry tee
hi all
as you know i have had a leak on my 1800 turbo . after a thorough search i found a split hose ,hose is question was the engine to tee piece hose . i have bought a new hose and i now have my gerry tee . i have fitted the tee and new hose bleed the system and ...... the connector the the engine on the new hose was pants it didnt fit tight and leaked . i used the old one off the old hose sorted . i think it is a bit much when you pay £64 for a part that is no good .. well its all done bleed and working as it should . i have taken it for a run and the it is great no lose of coolant, heater is hot ,when left standing and engine running the fan kicks in after about 20 mins although i never timed it .so all in the jobs a good un ..
