Just looked at some video of the passengers walking over the field after evacuation, a lot of them have their trolley cases and bags with them. That's grea service from emirates to let you take your hand luggage with you down the slides.

I have my plan for each flight, and I already know who "I'm going through to get to the door", passports in the pocket, and if they get to the door with their bag, just chuck them down, don't say anything. God forbid that I ever have my plan tested.
