Default Respray

Hi all , I am just thinking maybe sometime in the future I may want to respray my car , it is a Starlight Silver and when in the light you can see where it is faded , and also where work has been done but the paint work not been professionally blended in , also not sure if it can be bought back to some sort of show room condition with out a full respray ,
What are your thoughts.

If you re going to respray it please chose an other color.
Grey is a very boring and dull color (unless its dark grey/anthracite).

A re-spray is a huge job if it's done properly including strip out doors, windows everything off the car..very costly and unless it's done properly it could de value your car.

Cool

Wash, clay bar, wax polish and detailed.

Or wait till I'm down next and I'll do it for you.

If its past a good claying, polish and detailing you could consider getting it wrapped - lot cheaper than respray and the choice of finish is unlimited almost

There's absolutely nothing wrong with Starlight Silver (or Xpower Grey for that matter). My Tourer is Starlight Silver and it looks amazing when clean and polished up. It is very bright, unlike other silvers, and is much less likely to date than many other colours. I've clay-barred, polished and waxed recently, and it's never looked better.

I will also consider a partial respray at some point (everything from the side strips downwards) when funds allow, just to get rid of small imperfections etc.
