Default Premium Bumper Indicator Connections

Picked parts today ready for my Premium Bumper once it is delivered next weekend by Tom (Organiser). Looking at the indicator connections, it is a different plug to the original facelift indicator loom...... Wondering how I could do this...... then I remembered I bought some plugs that I was going to redo my DRL light, but as I am changing the bumper the DRL are made redundant.

The plugs are for motorcycles, so will be open to all weathers.

I bought these plugs a few months ago now I can use them for the Premium Bumper indicators....... See pics below........

and they fit perfect. Here is the link.

Indeed. So I'd suggest you weatherproof the fog lamp lenses (the bulleye gizmos). There's no gaskets on them so water will penetrate to the inside.

I fitted 1mm thick o-rings in mine. Measure the lens flange diameter. You can get suitable rings on eBay. It means dismantling the fogs and they aren't really designed to open up. Or stick it together with black automotive sealant I guess.

I need to replace my indicator bulb for my premium bumper. I can get my hand in from the back to pull out the cluster but it won't budge. Are they sealed in?

HI Steve.
It should twist anticlockwise can you not reach with your fingers, if you look at the photo above there is a flat part to put your thumb on, let us know how you get on.

I've just tried the (unfitted) lamps I have and they twist off very easily. I fear using pliers might shear off the finger lugs. By the sound of it, yours have been modified, perhaps by using a sealant or a thicker rubber seal. These 'Roewe' lamps are far from weatherproof as supplied and need some additional sealing. The bullseye fogs will fill with water when it rains unless they're improved. Water gets in through the sloppy lens. Maybe yours have had some work?
