Default Front Door Removal!

Is it possible to unplug the front door wiring loom connector without removing the front wing - anybody know?

Yes Les

No reason to remove the front wing at all.

You just need to gain access to the connector from the inside of the car and also pull back the convoluted sleeve covering the loom between the door and the body.

Thanks Paul,

It's just we have a customer coming in the morning and is going to change a door on his car outside!

We have only ever taken them off after stripping the front end

It took my auto electrician less than 5 minutes to dis-connect the plug Les.

Remembering back to the powerfold install on my first 75, you need 3 people and a GREAT deal of care to swap doors without causing damage

Best of luck.

I still reckon he had to be a contortionist have you (now that you are trained) tried it yourself?

I reseated a clutch pedal switch a few days ago so after hanging upside down bat fashion for about 20 minutes I don't think I will ever be the same again!

Hardly Keith - he weighs a couple of stone less than me and looks like an escapee from ZZ Top

No - I haven't tried it yet

Worst thing i ever did was take my doors off, they were a night mare to line up again, rear doors are fine as you can get to both sets of adjuster bolts.
