Welcome to the club!!

Does the pump run when you use the switch? There is a little valve somewhere along the route of the pipe, I think behind the bonnet insulation, that stops the water from going back to the bottle when you aren't using the jets to elliminate any delay in squirting when you operate the switch. If this has clogged up then the jets will stop. I replaced mine with a normal T piece. Did find after though that there was just a load of sludge in the bottom of the bottle.

Evening Alan and welcome to the Club

Screenwash problems are usually caused by gunky building up in the tank and probably in your case blocking the lines from the tank to the nozzles. Use a pin or similar to ensure the nozzles are unblocked then pour boiling water into the water tank and try to operate the washers. Hopefully the hot water will disolve the gunk and help free the lines. If this doesn't work you will have to try more drastic measures and disconnect the hoses from the nozzles and try and blow down the lines to see if you can clear any blockages that way.

Also, the filter in the tank itself may be blocked near the pump even if the pump itself appears to be working fine. Remove the front bumper for a propper look but you can get access from the offside wheel arch liner too.

Hope that helps for starters

EDIT: Also, pay attention to Phil. He knows things too and can type faster than me

£1 its the filter blocked up, poke a screwdriver through it. The use of additives over the years makes go a bit errr "gooey"

For the time it takes to while the motor is out to check it is minimal and also means you can begin to look elsewhere.

I have just sorted my low power washer jets, gunk in the split conex under the engine soundproofing before the jets. It has a spring loaded valve inside.

Default still problems

Hi
I've removed the pipe from the bonnet nothing blocked
the pump works with a direct supply to it but when plugged into correct plug there's nothing, no sound coming from it! NOTE this is a tourer and it supply's the rear screen also which isn't working,so i'm thinking there's a relay in the system???

Try checking the washer pump fuse - From memory its fuse 30 in the passangers side fuse box.
