Also, check for corrosion on the rear backplate near the centre, this can touch the reluctor seal on the bearing and damage it.

After yesterday’s day of just fitting diadem indicator bulbs and replacing drivers door water shedder today was working in the boot area going round the usual leak areas.
Vents removed and resealed Rear screen clips resealed Rear light clusters fitted with new seals from Jeremy(seals fitted were doubled up one side and on other looked like it had had evostick slathered over It in the distant past. Body side trim resealed C pillar trim resealed Grommit for reverse sensors sealed also Seal for boot removed, all cleaned up and sealed along the rim too Checked sunroof drains, Duck bills cut on rears but found the boot side wasn’t seated correctly, so reseated and sealed up, up front drivers side has a clear pipe in the arch while passenger side still had duck bill, not cut off and cleaned out. One the connectors arrive I will do the work on the inside all round. The boot drains look like the did drain ok but will do them for peace of mind regardless. Noticed the number plate bulbs were misbehaving but have the replacement lighting board so will get that swapped out soon. |

New wipers, side repeater bulbs and also swapped out cracked side repeater unit on off side. Rear sunroof drains fitted with the connector mod and V5 made it here so my plates now on with proper shaped rear plate at last then popped on the rear enamel MG badge, So the erse now looks complete.
Also cleaned up contacts for number plate lights which seems to have sorted that, so at the moment that saves me replacing the once board but time will tell how long that lasts lol Last edited by Maxfly; 10th July 2020 at 16:13.. |

Did you fit a new screen to that? I have an old Navall - hated it - but the screen died and you can have it if you want it |

Yesterday actually
Finally got round to wiring in the new seats following ricksta's how to.
Also run the wiring for the new sub whilst I had all the trims out. Found out that some numpty used something like no more nails to attach the sill trim on the drivers door rather than buying 3 new clips Now have to try and remove that. Stan
