Default Any recomended suppliers for double din units

It looks like my Navall 3 has had its day, it can take several goes to load the Satnav if at all, its not the software as I have tried I go, sygic and co pilot. The music player does not recognise my card so before it lets me down completely what options of purchasing a new one from a UK supplier?

There are loads on Ebay and Ali Express but I would prefer to purchase one from the UK or Europe even if it is more expensive so if it plays up I have some come back.

Are there any brands to avoid?

Are there any that come ready loaded with all the software?

Go for an Xtrons unit. Don't know if jubbarelly is still selling but if he is, you can rest assured you'll get the best unit and best service in the UK. Prices are a bit higher than Ali or eBay but then you'll have a proper xTrons with support!

I bought mine direct from Xtrons UK very quick delivery.
At the moment you can get 15% off if you subscribe to the newsletter.

Not sure I think I heard Jubbarelly had stopped selling them.

Thank you, Xtrons it will be then.

I quite like the look of the units with the bigger screen like this https://xtrons.co.uk/bmw-various-android-10-hexa-core-4gb-ram-64gb-rom-pq8046bl

Not sure where the card goes for the Satnav or am I missing something?

I doubt you will get a map card with it but just connect it your home network and download Sygic or something similar and it will be fine. Is bound to have google maps installed but you will need to download the local maps as well assuming you want to use them offline.

I bought one of these at the end of last year.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/193473736917

I’m very pleased with it, even though it’s Android and I much prefer Apple Car Play but couldn’t find one in the R75 dimensions. I run the internet through my phone (I have an unlimited data plan) and use Google Maps for sat nav. DAB radio isn’t all it’s cracked up to be so I’ve gone back to good old analogue, as I only really listen to Radio 4 anyway (typical R75 driver).

The wide screen is excellent and I prefer the round buttons to the pointy ones on most 7” units.

Another vote for Xtrons here, all functions work very well and sound quality is excellent.Mine has built in dab+ and radio reception is near on perfect.I did have an amplified shark fin roof aeriel fitted though which made all the difference.

I'm looking for a new unit so i've been looking into the Xtron units, but no-one from their HK site is replying to me and i cannot complete a purchase, plus their sites are very very slow.
I then Googled the UK site and on reviews the ratings are low?

I would be interested in any advice on new units, or if there anything going on with Xtrons recently?
