Another red 260 in Scotland
I do like the colour, but then may be a bit biased.

Depends how bad an example you get.

If you get a tatty one to bring up to spec, £3900 upwards I would have thought

It really depends what you intend using it for, mine is very limited use, and mainly for towing caravan, so fuel consumption is not an issue, and as for price, you get a lot of car for your money.

I bought it unseen, and yes it does have some faults, but I'm working my way through them.

From what I can remember Polly..

Windscreen needed refitted, trim above windscreen was hanging down, dents in drivers door and one one passenger side, big chips near fuel filler cap, poorly refurbished wheels, knackered IPK, headlights needed replaced, rear discs could have done with a skim, tyres were low, and the A/C was acting oddly, so I think there might have been an issue with the compressor.

Regarding the windscreen, it was leaking, and the VIN was obscured by so much water you couldn't actually read it !

Apart from that the boot was dry, the car looked pretty unmolested, but it was just a little to much hassle for me even at the price I got it down to.

Im glad someones rescued it and its gone to a loving home
