I was told of this cars existence back at the NEC last year by a forum member. A bit later the owner of the diesel ZT contacted Simon Goldsworthy editor of MG Enthusiast who in turn contacted me. I tried to phone the owner and email him asking if he was prepared to let me take photo's with Banana but no reply.

I do know that via the forum member who contacted me that this is a one owner car, only used to go shopping and up to the golf course.

Sadly it is over priced after all at the end of the day it's a diesel ZT. When I first bought Banana I paid £3500, two weeks later I was offered £5000 but I refused. Never been offered anymore for her but then I'll never sell.

Good luck to ever buys this beauty. Be good to get two of the four together for a photo.

Someone will buy it, of that I am sure, but not at that price though.

A nice car but appears unrealistically priced. Last week a dealer, Robert Hughes, had an immaculate 2.5 pre-facelift auto in BRG/Deep Sea Green with 16,000 miles on the clock advertised at £6,500 which was snapped up immediately.

I’m not one to devalue our cars but flipping heck that’s a ridiculous price. I’d say £3K ish would be nearer the mark even if it has a fancy paint job

I'm wondering if the owner has put it on at that price to stop people asking if he wants to sell. He did say that he would never sell but maybe circumstances have changed. Be nice to have a sister car for Banana...............................

not sure it has been mentioned elsewhere, (tried searching and came across this post) but this has recently come up for sale again on closed Facebook 75/ZT site. (I am not posting images etc. it is up to the owner to join and do that).

Yes it sure jas £6k it's up for this time. Probably going to be one of the best condition monograms around at that mileage, also a very rare colour for ZT's.
