V6 needs gearbox selector cable
Hi All, I am in need of a gearbox selector cable for a 2 litre V6. I can only get 1st and 5th on the vehicle and it is very difficult to put an identity to the cable, which I have found to be frayed. Haven't got the exhaust and shield off yet, but suspect that some would suggest replace the whole gear lever unit and cables in one.........any advice or suggestions please?

Regarding these cables, I've read that the manual selector cables are the same for all variations of our cars.......has anybody done this recently, or could verify that please?
