Exhaust recommendation Diesel saloon
Hi,
My back box is blowing so I'd like to replace is. I'd like to replace it all the way back to the cat. Please can anyone recommend a part from ebay for me. Is there a good vendor offering a warranty. A local firm offered to fit one for £170. is this a good price. My car is a 2001 diesel saloon 75. Many thanks, Jim |

I'm interested in this too.
I changed mine last year on my CDTi for an ebay one, what a mistake, way too loud and boomy. Who does a quiet one ??? |

Quick update. Klariusfitted today and only had a short journey home but sounds fine.
Cost £79 + £30 fitting from my local mobile mechanic. All done for £109. Previous quotes from exhaust centre were £170-180. I also have the 5y warranty plus a saving of 60-70 quid. Thanks Trikey. |

The replacement pipe has a larger flange that will just slip over the existing front pipe (once you have measured and cut the old system off)
One exhaust clamp is all that’s needed and maybe a couple of new rubbers for the rear hangers to do the job properly.
