Afternoon all, It's turned nice this aft with a bit of sunshine to boot, I took the battery maintainer off the Rover & was going to give it a run around the service road out back but our daughter has crammed a multitude of horsey stuff around it and I'm not shifting that lot.
So I've been in the greenhouse planting some vegetable seeds in the propagators as it seems like the seasons have moved forward 5-6 weeks these days So I shall see how the root veg seeds will do or not as the case may be! Early Garlic is coming on a storm from planting it in the greenhouse last Autumn.

Morning everyone.
Even more rain but has turned mild. Hoping to get Banana back today, been back to the paint shop with a few bits that needed re-doing.

Very dull and cloudy this morning, rain forecast, just as well I’m off this morning while the van gets a few repairs done.

Bob, I hope you are not having to pay for the work done in the paint shop and that it leaves the shop looking good as new. Currently it’s blue skies here, but rain is forecast for this afternoon with 24C. I have just cleaned the pool and the water is up to the brim, the grass on the lawn is high from the rains. It was only cut 2 weeks ago. No sign of the locusts yet, so hoping they keep away. Coronavirus - a few days ago a Chinese student was intercepted arriving at Jomo Kenyatta Airport from China. He was immediately put into an isolation unit at Kenyatta State Hospital. So far initial tests have found him to be clear of the virus, but he is being kept in isolation for 14 days quarantine. This news does not make the international media, but it made the local ones. During the Ebola outbreak in West Africa, the Kenyan government put a ban on all flights to and from West Africa. At the time, this worked and the virus was contained. How is everyone? |

Morning everyone - grey, with a very strong gusty wind up here - without the wind, I suspect it would be pretty mild.
After last weekend's houseful, there's just the missus and I this week, so food shopping shouldn't take too long and will be easier on the coffers

I am getting prepared for my flight to London in 2 weeks time. I have been buying a selection of teas and coffees for presents to take back. I am hoping the scan in London is going to be ok and if it is, then I can get back on track and plan ahead. |
