Default Cheapest t4 in South East?

I have some things I would like to get checked out on t4, the injectors being the main thing. But as always, money is tight so looking for the cheapest reputable place with t4.

My local SMC want £110 an hour for t4.

Can anybody recommend anywhere, I'm willing to travel a fair distance.

Try Executive Motoring Services... had my IPK paired to the car, was around £45.

Ralph and Andy are members of this forum, and their service is top notch.

EDIT: just noticed you're in Slough... might be a bit of a trek, EMS is in Upchurch in North Kent.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, guys. Our normal T4 session rate is £80 per hour, but forum members get 10% discount.

Hi Chris,

I might be asking the obvious here... but, if the injectors are your (main) worry, have you tried any injector cleaner? A t4 will tell you how much each injector is "out" by. It might be more worthwile to run some through and have some nice long runs in the car before you have the expense of a t4 session.

I use an engine cleaner once a year to clean out the injectors.

Was going to start a new thread but found this one so I'll continue on here......

As a new owner I am also looking for somewhere a bit closer with a T4.

Appreciate costs are per hour but how long would a full diagnostic test take please?

Also has anyone in my area used RoverTech in Portsmouth?

I am probably looking at using them or Stewards in Havant.

If it is really thorough Test with print out etc it can indeed take an hour or more even to check the faults logged,
switching on Preferences, Injector Balance and a heap of other things to etc.

Thanks John.

Other than the central locking coming on at 4mph (that I will be changing!) are there any other obvious preferences that are commonly changed?

Cannot find the thread at present,
but some have the options set to turn on one shot up on drivers window,
Leaving front and rear lights on after parking great at night to see up the drive.
Daylight running lights (aka Volvo),
also things like lazy vent etc,
this allows you to open all windows and sunroof where fitted using key and lock them all to (handy for the hot summer coming).
