Hi
My question might be a daft un but any help would be appreciated. From what I understand the aeriel lead doesn't go into the back of the unit but connects to something in the boot. Can anyone give details and what sort of extension I may need to put in.

Cheers

Default Aerial Extensions

http://www.parkmyauto.co.uk/rover-75...als-1105-p.asp
I have e mailed these people as to the availability of extension aerial cables.
I have a DVB-T box with its supplied aerial so my existing factory fit twin TV aerial can just be ignored? Is that right? I will need to extend the radio aerial from the boot ( factory fit TV/sat nav to be replaced with Seans DD) but, will it still be powered if I just unplug it and then extend it? From all the posts on these matters these units certainly do not appear to be plug and play.

Have you configured it to load the Igo.exe file in?

It needs to be set up to load the file from the card, before it will work. A sort of compass appears on the screen, against a black background, after which a screen appears with a car on the left and two icons on the right, click the top one of the two, then use that to set it up to load Igo.exe from your SD card.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Can anyone help with this?

When I turn the unit on I have a constant hiss from the speakers. The level of the hiss remains constant. However if I turn the volume to 0 or press the mute button the hiss disappears, but as soon as I turn the volume to 1 it's back.
Any ideas?

thanks in advance

Has anyone installed one of these?:

http://www.sundaybuy.com/1-din-dvd-p...-can-bus-radio

I have been advised that this is the correct unit for my car (260 with Hi Line and HK), but do I need it with CANbus or without?

Also, if I plug the new unit direct into the 17-pin socket in the boot (which plugs into what is presumably the factory radio module), do I overcome the problem of the HK amp and sub being cut out of the circuit with the new head unit installed?

Hi Obiwan

We went through a Phase of those about a year ago. I Would suspect that they reduced the prices because nobody was buying them !

With our Unit You get the same features. But you are one of over 700 UK users and can count on lots of support here and from the factory. We supplied 5 of those about 18 months ago but factory support was brutal. They left ME high and dry after they were paid and shipped. And I am a large quantity buyer !

I Can get it for you but I wouldn't because of the support and we had reliability problems.

There is a thread here on our failed project regarding them.

Our unit is suited to your car. We have UK repair depot and UK Support.

We are Very close to the same Cost (When you add their shipping cost) We cover import taxes and You get a 4GB SD Card that is Mainly geared towards UK Customers with Skins and Logos etc.,

You can Order Here and read more should you choose us !
