I put a CDTi badge on my car myself? I think it cost me £12 off ebay..

Now if Duotone would be good enuff to post a better photo of the door piller sticker, I can then print one for my car and complete the job.

In 2005 it was expensive.

For the last 3 years to my knowledge it's been £199 + vat

That explaination from the dealer is not quite accurate.

When you order the upgrade, the vin details are sent to X-part who calculate the unlock code for your car, once done the upgrade pack is sent to the dealer which contains the disc, unlock code certificate, installation instructions and door pillar sticker.

A session on T4 is then required and takes about 1/2 hr total which is the amount of labour you will probably be charged.

DVLA have nothing to do with it

I checked the other posts, and then referred to my V55, which states CDTi. In the 'version' section mine states O5K, which is not mentioned at all, only the letter 'C', so it's a mystery?

It was registered (I know not conclusive to manufacture date) in Dec '04 and is a facelift.

Dunno where you've been looking but 05K is on the datasheet. It indicates you have a Rover 75, automatic, right hand drive, and it's the 131ps version.

Here's the datasheet :

As far as I am aware, ALL MG ZT's are CDTi's some 115 some 135.

rover 75's used the "i" to denote the 135 but as mentioned, not that clear

So why does my original Rover factory label say 135ps ? My label is identical to the one depicted in post #17, apart from the difference in model name. Did Rover get confused by the 131 135 I wonder?
