Default Daft question!

I have what is probably a daft question but.

Do you think that anyone would ever be interested in swapping their 75 saloon for a tourer?

I have been doing a new job delivering vw/audi parts and so I am on the road 9 hours a day and all I seem to see is 75 saloons and I so miss mine now and wish I had not sold it for the tourer. I love my car and it's one of the nicest looking estates there is but the saloon looks even better.

I may sell if I get the right money and get a saloon come summer (wife is raising eyebrows as I type)

Can you give mileage and general condition for your CDT?

As it happens the Tourer diesels are much sought after, best of luck.

Well its a con se with blue leather, wedgewood blue. 127k auto cdt.

Condition wise its very tidy but does have some issues. First is it needs a rad fan motor which I intend doing before summer if I keep it. Second problem is the 2 passenger doors which have been poorly painted by last owner and really need doing properly. I have asked a few crash repair centers i call at and most say around £200 for both doors painting. It looks like they were removed to paint and the front was not hung fully lined up.

Other than that it's tidy for a 51 reg with just usual stone chips to front conclusive to 127k. It has marks to bumper at rear where things have been in and out of boot and one small dent o drivers door prob from a bag of shopping.

If I keep it all the paint and the ding will be done in the summer as it drives as well as my cdti which had 60k. Apart from it pulling to left but needs new front tyres and tracking doing. I have also just done the drop links and auto box had a fluid change when I got it.

No offence but I would rather sit on a sharp object and eat a poo sandwich than swap my saloon for a tourer

Lol, no offence taken. Though I would rather have a tourer diesel than a 1.8

No seriously though I will probably end up doing all the bits needed and just keep it and love it as it feels no different to drive than my saloon and I actually prefer the blue leather to the sandstone leather I had before, though both are nice.

Ah decisions decisions... If you love your car then keep it and enjoy it matey...simple........... However, diesel is the devil's fuel. It's for lorry's not cars. Diesels are noisy and they stink. Petrol all the way for me!!
