  • MGOC membership only required for full members as their server hosts the site
Becoming a member without owning a 260 will give you access to information that can be helpful if you want to buy. Normally questions about prospective cars will be answered by members in the know.

Nothing to do with posh, just they way it's organised
I thought that is what I said but in not so many words Herman, thanks for clarifying though .

However the query the op had was how long he would be waiting prior to acceptance.

Normally Tim is quite good with those things but also has a personal life.
Maybe been he's been out today

I'm sure when he's online it will get sorted soon.

The forum is run by a small group of people and may take a bit longer to respond than a bigger community like this.
As the application only was done this morning I'd give it some more time.

Try joining a google group, you'll be waiting a long time

If not sorted tomorrow let me know and I'll get in touch with Tim

I've quite aware of that Herman, hence why I explained what the procedure was to the op .

I'm sure you'll find it as no surprise, that I disagree!

There is very little information available to potential purchasers on there, the weak spots on the car, ( top hose, black olive, rear diff leaks, early rear sub frames etc) and as a current non-owner, it all comes over a bit "secret squirrel" to me!

However, I'm sure that once you become an owner, there's lots of info on there, but by then, if you've bought a dog, it's a bit late!

All IMO of course!
