^ Probably will but not guaranteed to have, and what speed/how many lanes will it have?.

David,

something like this will most likely work, but again is half height (low profile) so depends what the expansion slots are like in your base unit.

As with any graphics card, you get what you pay for - at this sort of price point you will get what I would call "business graphics" - good for monitors up to 24", spreadsheets, word docs, internet and email - you would not be able to play serious games (if that is your thing!) or edit videos to any extent.

Also - what interfaces do you have on your monitors - are they VGA or DVI (blue or white connectors respectively)? This dictates what card to get (or at least what cable or adapter to get with it).

I don't really want to guess what is in your PC and advise you to get something that wont fit - it would really help to get a clear internal picture of the PC or the motherboard model.

Definitely VGA card at the moment...

I'm too old for PC games, its only going to be used on a pair of 17" screens, just so I can watch TV/DVD / catch up TV etc, whilst I surf, so quality is not such an issue

Looks to me like a PCI-E socket for the graphics card.

So a standard (ie not low-profile) PCI-E graphics card will (or should) give you 2 monitor outputs.

Search the bay. Or any decent PC store should be able to supply for around £20-£30.

Something like this one should be ok

Thanks for the pic, as Richards says above, that is a PCI-E slot (the longer one above the wireless card).

That photo actually also shows the model number of the motherboard (it is an MSI Ms-7309 Ver 1.0).

I had a look at the specs and that has a PCI-E x1 slot (the short one at the top), a PCI-E x16 (the long one and the one that is of interest) and two normal PCI slots (you have your wifi card in one of them).

There are two profiles of card - full height (which is what you want) or half height/low profile (generally these are for smaller cases and the circuit board tends to be smaller and the bracket that you fix it in with, shorter.

The quadro card Richard has linked to should work fine (you will likely need to download drivers, from the NVidea website)

One of these will also do the job:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ATI-Radeon...item5d4313c2f7

Once you have installed the card and drivers, you will need to go into your display properties and configure the dual screens (the extend my monitor onto this screen tick box).
