Default apex alloy touch up.

I know Pmessling has found a good refurber who will respray the apex's, but has anyone retouched scuffs successfuly, and what paint did you use ?

I think you will find the paint is called Silver Sparkle and you can get it from a Xpart dealer. The paint code is MNH and the Rover part numbers were
Pencil AWZ101830MNH and Spray Can AWZ101843 MNH

thanks but the apex alloys are a "shadow chrome" frinish, I believe a gunmetal over black, and the finish isnt very durable to say the least

i think you would struggle to touch them up, because of the different layers, the only thing to do is to put some clear on top to stop the rest coming off around the area.

I am aware of a company in Birmingham - Lap Tab but £55+Vat per wheel does anyone know of better prices and Bromsgrove area of the Midlands? Need 4 done for slight rim kerbing.

There is another company called Pristine Wheels but I think they charge £65 for an 18" Alloy, but the choice & quality of the factory finishes they can produce is amazing.

1. Plenum drains..all 3 or 4 year dependent
2. Cooling fan..All speeds functioning

We have a V8 in the workshop at the moment and its wheels are peeling as well. The paint finish on these wheel is described in EPC as Platinum Silver, not shadow chrome. The only wheels on EPC as shadow chrome are some TF wheels. The paint finish code is MVV, but this does not exist as an available paint via EPC.
