Lock pin rattle cure?
I've finally found the rattle in my driver's door.
It's the lock pin - as soon as I touch it, the rattle stops. Can anybody suggest a permanent cure please? |

Oh you're going to love this one:
1. door card off 2. secure sponge around lock pin 3. replace door card

Does that not impede the lock pin from travelling up and down when locking and unlocking please? You wouldn't have a picture by any chance? Rgds Paul |

It only needs to be a wee bit of sponge to act as a damper on the rod I have put a bit of sleeving at the bottom of each button to reduce the movement in the hole which gives the same effect If you go for the sponge you know how to rip the door cards off now don't you |
